NATIVE LANGUAGE BIBLE PROJECTS

The Choctaw-English Parallel Bible

The Choctaw-English Parallel Bible

Projects are currently underway for the printing of the first edition of the Cherokee-English Parallel Bible, the Creek-English Parallel Bible, and the second edition of the Choctaw-English Parallel Bible.

Printing for the Cherokee and Choctaw should start by early 2015. The Cherokee and Creek parallel Bibles will be the first of their kind in history. The Choctaw Bible will include all the formerly translated books as well as the books of Proverbs, Jonah, Obadiah, and a portion of Job in Choctaw. Each language Bible is paralleled with the King James Version.

Please pray for these projects, that God’s great blessing would accompany the publication of His Word among these three tribes.

Mission Trip—Kickapoo Tribe

Kickapoo Tribe SealPlans are underway for a trip to the Kickapoo tribe in Kansas at the end of this year. Currently, there is no Baptist work in this region.

Please pray for the team as they will be visiting homes and preaching the gospel in evangelistic meetings there. Please pray also for good weather and good health, especially for elder preachers planning to go.
