Fellowship Hall Needed at Grace Indian Baptist Church

Choctaw Pastor Trevor Patterson and Pastor Rick Robertson, Grace Indian Baptist Church, Talahina, OKAfter a long battle with cancer the late Rev. Rick Robertson, pastor of Grace Indian Baptist, went home to be with the Lord Jan. 13, 2013. Grace Indian Baptist is in great need of a fellowship hall and Bro. Rick had a vision to build it before he died. However, with his sudden home-going there was no time to raise any funds to meet this need. Bro. Rick’s assistant, Bro. Trevor Patterson, has stepped in as interim pastor for the church.

Trevor was ordained April 20, 2013. The Lord saved Brother Trevor Patterson at a youth camp in 2009 and the following spring he answered the call to preach. Bro. Trevor shares the vision of his former pastor and is leading the church to build the fellowship hall.

A building ministry out of a church in Louisiana has offered to provide free professional labor and complete the building in one week. Before they can come, there must be sufficient funds to cover all the building materials. A total of $50,000 is needed to cover all the expense. Thanks to the Lord, $10,000 has been donated as well as labor to run the plumbing and pour the foundation in May. Other churches have given $2,000 which leaves the need at $38,000.

Please prayerfully consider this great need and what you can do. Any inquiries may be made to Missionary Raymond Johnson (580) 244-7549 or Pastor Trevor Patterson (918) 942-8800.

Native American Gospel Tracts

Some of the articles you see in The Baptist Arrow will be printed as gospel tracts. We will be distributing these tracts ourselves and supplying them to missionaries on reservations across North America. If you’d like to donate, call 918-649-5104.
